I heard this is one of the greatest books Marvel has made since it’s about the people and not the hero’s. It first takes place in 1939 New York where some reporters, one being J. Jonah Jamison. They go to take pictures of the original Human Torch, an android made by a scientist. It then introduces Namor, Captain America, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, the Avengers, the Silver Surfer, and Spider-Man too. All up Gwen Stacy and when what happens to her it’s still sad even after all these years.

What’s great about this book is that it puts us in the people’s point of view and not of the hero’s in this changing world. There is also a follow up to Marvels for the photographer’s life but I heard it was okay. Still this is a classic book made by Marvel and the same artist, Alex Ross did Kingdom Come too and that was a classic too.

You can get this in the library and pretty much anywhere now. I found this in the young adult section but the book is still good if you want to give it a read. Also here’s the article for the top 10 graphic novels by Marvel. http://whatculture.com/comics/10-marvel-graphic-novels-must-read-die.php
